This home is a Cottage Gothic and was built in 1860. It is a one and one half story masonry structure with decorative wood over the door, barge boards, a bay window, and a gable roof. A one story addition was added in the 1880's. The home was restored by the Tippecanoe County Building Trades Class for Jim and Bea Smith. In 1991, David and Jennifer Knies purchased the home. It was sold again in 1999 to Charity and George Rolfes.
