In 1992, a dedicated group of people from the Greater Lafayette community formed the Association for Space, Science, Engineering & Technology; or ASSET. Their dream? A hands-on, interactive science and space museum. A place for children and their families to explore the worlds of science, engineering and technology.

   Opened in 1996, the Imagination Station is the result of the combined efforts of hundreds of committed volunteers and donors. Through their continued generosity, the Imagination Station brings space, science, engineering, and technology to life for kids of all ages.
