Previously owned by David L. and Sharon L. Zimmerman, this home was purchased by a foundation associated with St. James Lutheran Church. After approval for a demolition permit was obtained, an effort was made by the neighborhood association and other groups to save the house. Later, some homeless trespassers set fire to the home twice in the same weekend. It was demolished shortly afterward.
